Every university is different. The way we think about campuses is evolving, and the built environment has to respond to that.
We get to the heart of what makes each university unique, walking in the shoes of our stakeholders to get a full understanding of every brief. By engaging with staff, students and communities, we unlock the potential of campuses across the country, combining evidence from these engagements with our own research and expertise.
A university is not simply a place to teach, research, learn and relax. It is a place to belong. We design spaces which improve the wellbeing of those who use them, and empower people to share expertise and facilities together.
We embed sustainability in everything we do. It’s an attitude that informs not only our designs, but our culture and whole way of thinking – ensuring that our projects embody the highest standards of environmental performance.
Our third space concept embraces more diverse and inclusive spaces for students and staff. There are a range of zones reflecting different social learning activities for both groups and individuals, and a variety of sensory environments. New technologies have been integrated to capture students’ experience, needs and wellbeing.
