About ADP

ADP Architecture is proud to be an Employee Owned Trust and it converted to this structure in 2017. We are BCorp certified and have ‘Gold Investors In People’ status. We know that a healthy work/life balance is important, and in addition to other competitive benefits, we offer the opportunity to have compressed working hours and a dedicated learning and development portal called ADP Academy.

We are a practice of about 80 staff in total, based in London, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Nicosia in Cyprus and have been in operation for almost 60 years. Our projects span a wide range of sectors and scales, including education, healthcare, residential and workplace,  for public and private clients.

We’re an equal opportunities employer and a gold-standard investor in people – reflecting our belief that it takes a people-centred practice to create people-centred architecture. Diversity is at the heart of our success, and we welcome applications from underrepresented groups.

The Role

We’re looking for creative, passionate and versatile designers who can work independently, as well as effectively contribute as part of a team.

Projects will involve working in larger architectural design teams and also on standalone interior design commissions. You will be involved from the earliest concepts and proposals, through to producing costed design packages, specifications and supporting construction.

You’ll primarily work in hospitality, residential and commercial design with the potential to contribute in education and health care.

You’ll have successfully worked on high-quality schemes from inception to completion and can demonstrate delivering high-quality design work through reports, visuals, schedules and technical drawings.

We acknowledge the value of both specialist Interior Designers and Architects with a special interest in Interior Design, so we are interested in receiving applications from a range of experience and skills.

We are in a period of building our interiors specialism. This role will see you working with, and overseeing, a less experienced interior designer.

You’ll be friendly, and keen to contribute to the community in our studios to make them positive places for everyone to work.

  • Taking responsibility for the production, coordination and integrity of project-specific information.
  • Having a clear understanding of the scope of services for projects and being aware of applicable change control processes and value engineering.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the implications of current legislation and standards and methods of construction.
  • Taking responsibility for fully designed FFE specifications and schedules.
  • Generating CAD project drawings and generating CGIs to communicate designs (Preferable).
