We’re delighted to announce that our Bloxham Grove Academy was successful in winning the Delivering Value Award at the SECBE Construction Excellence Awards last week.
Bloxham Grove Academy is designed for 100 students aged 7–18 years old, with a complex range of special educational needs and disabilities. These include primary needs of Autistic Spectrum Condition, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and Cognition and Learning difficulties.
The Gallery Trust, who operates the school, was keen to bring their successful vision and ethos of restorative teaching and learning. We developed this by giving pupils the space and accommodation to move from classrooms to varying places of safety around the school. The behaviour can then be better managed, reducing the stress levels of pupils, staff and parents.
A testament to the collaborative efforts of contractors, designers, and a visionary client. Congratulations to all involved.
