Sian is an associate, with a particular interest in community engagement. She pursues this in both her professional role and her spare time, by connecting with schools and volunteering for Placed, a consultation and education social enterprise.
As a native Scouser with a strong attachment to her city and its people, Sian has undertaken research into Liverpool’s many communities and how they interact with their environment – not only in ways that designers anticipate, but through unexpected adaptations. She brings this understanding of how identity and memory are assigned to specific places into every project she approaches.
Outside of work, Sian explores the interaction between human forms and the built space in different ways: by reinvigorating her old passions for dance, performance and the arts.
