We are an international team, working from eight different locations across the UK, Cyprus and India. But we are also one team, combining experience and flexibility. Sector and skill experts are matched to each project across the practice, so that every project can be delivered efficiently and by the right team.
In recognition of his contribution and influence on the practice, Roger is a fellow of ADP which, while carrying no commitment or responsibility, will allow him to continue to offer the value of substantial experience to the practice. Before his retirement, Roger played a key role in raising the standards of design quality across ADP, and growing it to the successful practice it is today.
Over his career, Roger has been an awards assessor for the RIBA, designed numerous award-winning schemes, and overseen ADP publications such as Education and Contextualism and the AJ’s ADP at 50. He is a member of the Society of Artists in Architecture, and has written and illustrated books on the buildings of Britain, London and New York.
Perfectly placed at the heart of the new Trumpington Southern Fringe neighbourhood in Cambridge, Clay Farm Community Centre is a focal point for both its existing and emerging communities.
Designing houses well is one of the most important challenges for an architect – particularly when those houses need to respond to a complex, traditional setting. Our challenge was to design this house in Kent as a daringly modern response to its historic surroundings, taking a highly sustainable approach. The family wanted their home to […]
Our design for the Forum focused on bringing the three different types of user together in a shared community space. A central atrium helps students and members of the public to feel more connected, while giving the building itself a powerful, unified identity.
We’ve worked closely with the University of Sussex for over fifteen years, from developing their masterplan to designing a number of new buildings for their campus. Founded in 1959, the campus is characterised by its listed buildings designed by Sir Basil Spence, as well as the surrounding South Downs National Park. Growth in the late […]
A decade had passed since the last masterplan for the Knowledge Gateway – the University of Essex’s research and business park in Colchester – and the University commissioned us to create a new one. The masterplan would help to increase density on the site, and would explore options for a number of new buildings including […]
Oxford Castle is one of the city’s oldest sites, with a history stretching back almost a thousand years. It had most recently been used as a prison, but following the prison’s closure, Oxfordshire County Council wanted to open up the Castle as a destination for the whole city to enjoy.
We’ve delivered several projects at White Rose Office Park, helping developers Munroe K with their mission to evolve the site into a northern nerve centre for innovation. Munroe Court is a key part of that mission: this large office suite for HSBC needed to be sustainable and flexible, with the option to be split into […]
After several key projects at White Rose Office Park, we were commissioned to devise a masterplan for the whole site, as well as the adjoining Millshaw Park Industrial Estate. Munroe K – the developers – had a radical vision for the park, which would be a heartland for innovation and act as a focal point […]
Over the past decade, we’ve completed several projects at White Rose Office Park – from office buildings to a masterplan of the entire site. Munroe K, our client, had wanted for some time to improve the public transport links to the site by constructing a new railway station. This would lie on the Leeds–Huddersfield line, […]
We’ve delivered several projects on White Rose Office Park, which is home to a number of significant companies. One of these tenants – a major sports broadcasting company – had outgrown its existing offices, and needed a large extension that would connect seamlessly with the existing block.
