ADP is delighted to announce that four of our architects have recently achieved certification as Passivhaus Designers. This recognises that following an intensive training period, Jessica Morrison, Jill Marks, Karen Turnbull and Simon Beaumont-Orr now have the skills and knowledge to deliver buildings to Passivhaus standards – representing an exceptionally high standard of environmental performance.
All four architects are members of our practice-wide sustainability group, and will bring their new skills to support our wider sustainability strategy. They will also be able to support a number of our current projects being delivered to Passivhaus standards, including a residential development in the South West, a new school in Scotland, and a workplace refurbishment in the South East.
Karen Turnbull, ADP’s sustainability lead, said: “We’re incredibly proud of our team, and excited to be putting these knowledge and skills in place. This will not only support our exciting range of Passivhaus projects, but forms an essential part of our strategy for putting our work on a trajectory towards zero-carbon.”
