ADP has successfully achieved planning for the new Oriam Indoor Tennis Centre in Edinburgh. When complete, the centre will support Oriam – Scotland’s national performance centre for sport – in providing world-class training facilities for tennis players.

The centre will sit on Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh Campus, and will be available to members of the University, visitors, and local and national sports teams for training. It will also be completely accessible.

In addition to six indoor tennis courts, the project includes a new link building connecting the courts to the existing Centre for Sport and Exercise. Translucent polycarbonate cladding will complement Oriam’s appearance, while letting in controlled daylight during the day.

Graeme Feechan, project director for ADP, said: “We are proud to have assisted our client in meeting this important milestone. The state-of-the-art facility is set to become an important addition to the Oriam offer, providing the facilities necessary for Scotland’s tennis players to excel.”
