Two ADP Projects Shortlisted for Education Estates Awards 2020

This year’s Education Estates Awards shortlist has been revealed and we are delighted to have two projects on the list.

It was announced that our designs for the Joseph Priestley East Building at University of Huddersfield and Braywick Court School, are shortlisted for awards at the Virtual Shortlist Party this week.

The Education Estates Awards celebrate excellence and achievement in education.

The Joseph Priestley East Building is shortlisted in the Innovation in Teaching and Learning category. This award recognises an educational institution that has used its building asset in a way that delivers a different and innovative way of teaching and learning.

The Joseph Priestley Building transforms the way the University of Huddersfield teaches science by fostering collaboration between different disciplines and the local community. The ‘superlab’ concept maximises the efficiency of the space and improves the student experience through the integration of AV and IT.

Braywick Court School is shortlisted for the Project of the Year – Schools Award, which recognises a school new build project that has made a difference to the educational or research experience.

Braywick connects with nature and its surroundings at every opportunity, positively enhancing the wellbeing of pupils and staff. The bright, relaxing, and calming environment significantly improves the pupil experience, with creative and effective wayfinding introduced through colour and graphics.
