Our journey to B Corporation™ certification began in late 2020, and we were first certified in 2022, joining a small group of AJ100 practices to achieve the standard.
For us, B Corp™ is an independent review of our practices, and a commitment to being part of a movement that puts people and place first. The process isn’t a tick‑box exercise. It requires evidence, accountability, and transparency. Alongside completing the detailed B Impact Assessment, we amended our Articles of Association to formally embed our commitment to purpose. Most importantly, we feel being a B Corp™ helps ensure our work continues to benefit our people, clients, communities, and the environment.
“We don’t just want to say we’re doing good things; we want to prove it. The B Corp assessment process also helps us keep improving the everyday experience for our building users and beyond.” Craig Cullimore, ADP Chair.
What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations™, or B Corps™, are companies verified as meeting standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It is a globally recognised certification known for its rigorous standards and holistic approach, assessing performance across governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
The ‘B’ stands for “benefit” – for people and the planet, not just shareholders.
