Architectural Technicians

4TH May 2023

ADP has opportunities for ambitious and passionate architectural technicians across its UK studios.

Do you dream of a better built environment? We’re looking for architectural technicians to help us design a better future – one where buildings genuinely serve the needs of the people who use them and the wider environment.

We recognise the important role that architectural technicians play in the success of every stage of a project. If you’re a highly talented technical designer who’s looking for their next exciting challenge, in a progressive practice, this could be the role for you. We currently have opportunities to join our teams in our London, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh studios.

ADP comprise almost 150 staff across our studios in the UK, Cyprus and India. The practice builds on over 50 years history and we design around core principles of ‘sustainability’, ‘belonging’ and ‘engagement’, endeavouring to rethink the built environment to create a better future.

As part of the ADP team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a chosen sector or as an all-rounder, working with our cross-practice specialists in sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and education design. You’ll be able to work on projects that truly benefit their communities, from large educational buildings to mixed-use commercial developments, sensitive refurbishments to envelope-pushing new builds, £100m high-profile schemes to local grassroots community projects.

ADP is an employee-owned practice – meaning that all staff have a say in how the business is run, and everyone benefits from its success. We know that a healthy work/life balance is key, and in addition to a competitive benefits package (including private healthcare), all staff have flexible working hours, with the option to take a three-day weekend every fortnight.

We’re BCorp certified and an equal opportunities employer with gold-standard to ‘Investor in People’ – reflecting our belief that it takes a people-centred practice to create people-centred architecture. Diversity is at the heart of our success, and we welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
