— STUDIO LOCATION
We’re looking to recruit a highly talented and motivated landscape architect to become part of our growing landscape team. We are keen to hear from candidates with 2-3 years’ experience who are CMLI chartered landscape architects.
The role is available for a candidate to work from our Birmingham, London or Edinburgh studios, however other locations will be considered.
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and committed person with strong design flair, good freehand sketching skills and enthusiasm for landscape and urban design, planning and environmental assessments.
Experience of Autocad, Keyscape, Adobe CC and Microsoft Office and comprehensive plant knowledge is essential. Experience of AutoDesk Revit is also advantageous.
Our studios are busy hubs of creativity with a diverse range of high-profile ‘live’ projects. ADP specialises in a number of key sectors, including education, healthcare, residential/mixed-use and urban regeneration.
Working with our head of landscape and landscape assistants this is an exciting opportunity to support the practice in the preparation of drawings, reports and contract documents, and take ownership of individual projects.
With eight studios across the UK, Cyprus and India, and over 50 years’ history, ADP is in the UK’s top 40 architecture practices. We design around the principles of sustainability, belonging and engagement, rethinking the built environment to create a better future.
ADP is an employee-owned practice – meaning that all staff have a say in how the business is run, and everyone benefits from its success. We know that a healthy work/life balance is key to success: previous practice and studio events have included staff barbecues, archery, and a Christmas party at Spanish City in Whitley Bay following our award-winning restoration project. In addition to other benefits, all staff have flexible working hours, with the option to take a three-day weekend every fortnight.
We’re an equal opportunities employer and a “Gold”-standard Investor in People – reflecting our belief that it takes a people-centred practice to create people-centred architecture. Diversity is at the heart of our success, and we welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
