— STUDIO LOCATION
ADP has opportunities for interior designers across its studio locations.
We’re looking for interior designers to help us design a better future – one where our built environment genuinely serves the needs of the people who live in it. If you’re a highly talented designer who’s looking for their next exciting challenge in a progressive and employee-focused practice, this could be the role for you.
With eight studios across the UK, Cyprus and India, and over 50 years’ history, ADP is one of the UK’s top 40 architecture practices. We operate around the principles of sustainability, belonging and engagement, rethinking our environment to create a better future.
ADP has recently engaged a new interior design director and we are expanding our interiors team to support exciting and varied projects in the residential, commercial, and education sectors. We’re looking for creative, passionate and versatile designers who can work independently, as well as part of a team. Projects will involve contributing to larger architectural design teams and also working on standalone interior design commissions. You will be involved from earliest concepts and proposals through to producing costed design packages and specifications.
The role will ideally be based at our London, Oxford or Birmingham studios.
Candidates should have a minimum of seven years’ experience in the role. ADP uses Windows PCs and Adobe Creative Suite, Office365, Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape and NBS Chorus specification writer as our key software packages. Experience in these is preferable.
ADP is an employee-owned and employee-focused practice. All staff have a say in how the business is run, and everyone benefits from its success. We know that a healthy work/life balance is key and all staff have flexible working hours, the option for hybrid working and the opportunity to take a three-day weekend every fortnight. Other benefits include a bonus scheme, healthcare plan and enhanced maternity and paternity provision. We’re an equal opportunities employer and a gold-standard investor in people – reflecting our belief that it takes a people-centred practice to create people-centred designs. Diversity is at the heart of our success, and we welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
How to Apply
If you’re interested in joining our team, please submit your CV and portfolio (which should include some examples of how you communicate concepts through hand sketches) and a cover letter setting out your approach to interior design and your ambitions to firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting the position and studio location you’re applying for. Attachments should be in PDF format and no larger than 5MB in size.
