Lydia retrained to be a landscape architect after spending her twenties as a freelance musician. She graduated with a distinction in 2021 from Birmingham City University, and is now about to embark on the path to chartership.
Lydia is passionate about design, and always looking to improve her plant knowledge. She particularly enjoys designing at the city wide scale and detailed design. One of her particular interests within the profession is how landscape architecture can mitigate and reduce air pollution – the topic of her master’s research project.
In her free time, Lydia enjoys gardening, hanging out with her little boy and playing with her band.
